These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Fylo, a personal cash-flow forecasting service. By creating an account or using Fylo, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fylo, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Not Financial Advice

Fylo provides forecasts, balance predictions, and insights for informational purposes only. Fylo is not a bank, financial advisor, broker, or tax professional, and nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before making important ones.

Forecasts Are Estimates, Not Guarantees

Fylo's predictions are based on the data you connect and on statistical models. Forecasts are estimates only and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Real-world balances, transactions, bills, and income may differ from what Fylo projects. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any forecast will prove correct.

Account Registration and Responsibilities

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Connected Accounts and Third-Party Services

Fylo connects to your financial accounts through third-party account aggregation providers — Teller, Plaid, or SimpleFIN, depending on how you link an account — and, optionally, to your email through Google (Gmail). Your use of those services is also governed by the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. You authorize Fylo to access the data you connect for the purpose of providing the service, and you may disconnect any account at any time.

Uploaded Content and AI Processing

You may upload financial documents such as bills, receipts, and statements. You retain ownership of what you upload, and you grant Fylo the right to store and process it solely to provide the service. Fylo uses AI models to extract financial details from uploaded documents, connected email, and transaction data, as described in our Privacy Policy; extracted details may be inaccurate, and you should review them before relying on them. You must only upload content you have the right to share.

Fees

Self-hosting Fylo is free under its open-source license. Our hosted service may offer paid subscription plans; where paid plans are offered, pricing is shown before you purchase, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use Fylo only with accounts and data you are authorized to access
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Comply with all applicable laws

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Fylo for violations of these terms, for unlawful activity, or at our discretion. You may stop using Fylo and request deletion of your account at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fylo is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Financial losses, overdrafts, missed payments, or decisions made in reliance on a forecast
• Loss of data or service interruptions

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Continued use of Fylo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
